CHARLESTON, WV – November 22, 2023 – The Gas and Oil Association of West Virginia (GO-WV) today announced it is pledging a monetary donation to the American Red Cross – Central Appalachia Region in an effort to support all residents, workers and businesses impacted by the recent natural gas outage in Charleston’s West Side.
“GO-WV recognizes the efforts of Mountaineer Gas in its response to the unfortunate outage in Charleston’s West Side neighborhoods,” said Charlie Burd, Executive Director of GO-WV. “As a proud member of GO-WV, Mountaineer Gas continues to work around the clock to restore service to customers affected by the outage, and this contribution will aid necessary relief efforts while that critical work is underway.”
