Please see this important message from the Independent Oil and Gas Association of West Virginia, Inc.
Beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020, the IOGAWV temporarily closed its Charleston, WV office in an effort to stop or prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. During this time of temporary closure, the IOGA staff will be working remotely from their homes to help manage the potential risk associated with the virus.
As members, please know we anticipate temporary event to be seamless and ALL membership services you have come to know and expect will continue to be provided–including all facets of the IOGA Insurance Program and other membership offerings. We will be fluid in our assessment of when we can reopen the office and will review that decision on a constant basis and advise you accordingly.
During this time, we want you to know it will be “business as usual.” So please continue to call the IOGA office with questions or other needs. Calls to the IOGA office will be taken and automatically transferred to Lori Miller Smith, office manager, who will address the inquiry or relay the call to the appropriate staff person.
As you might expect, we are closely following the recommendations as provided by Governor Jim Justice and the appropriate health authorities. To this end, please note we have postponed some upcoming events until such time as they can be safely conducted.
In closing, the Officers, Board of Directors and Staff thank you for your understanding during this unprecedented time in our Nation’s history.
