The Gas and Oil Association of West Virginia (GO-WV) released the following statement today on the latest Waters of the United States (WOTUS) ruling:
“GO-WV applauds Attorney General Patrick Morrisey’s leadership in opposing the reinstatement of burdensome regulations that will only add unnecessary red tape to critical industries in West Virginia and beyond. A bipartisan Congress voiced their disapproval for the latest Waters of the United Sates (WOTUS) ruling because it would create more oversight delays, deter investment, and increase project timelines for job-creators who already go above and beyond regulatory requirements to conserve water and the surrounding environment.” – Charlie Burd, Executive Director, Gas and Oil Association of WV (GO-WV)
