Scholarship Recipients

In 1997, GO-WV established its Scholarship Program in an effort to become more involved in higher education in West Virginia. The Scholarship Program was specifically created to reward the outstanding scholastic achievements of high school seniors whose parents work in the oil and natural gas industry for GO-WV membership companies. GO-WV also awards deserving high school “student employees” who have completed a required number of working hours at an GO-WV member company. Since the Scholarship Program’s inception, GO-WV has awarded over total of $246,000 in scholarships to these very deserving students. Beginning in 2020, we are offered two scholarships to students attending vocational and/or technical schools.
