The Independent Oil and Gas Association of West Virginia wants all members to be aware of the newly announced “Save Small Business Fund”.  The Save Small Business Fund, in collaboration with Vistaprint and with support from Merck, S&P Global Foundation and Travelers, will include contributions from corporations and philanthropic partners including the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The $5,000 grant is expected to address small businesses’ immediate needs like closures and job losses, as well as support their long-term recovery. The $5,000 grants will be available to businesses that meet the following requirements.

  • Employing 3 to 20 people
  • Be located in an economically vulnerable area (determined by business zip code)
  • Have been financially harmed by the Covid-19 pandemic.

 

The application is short and only take about 10 minutes to complete. All you will need is your business’s W-9 form. Grants will be awarded on a weekly basis, but you only need to apply one time to be eligible for funding.  The program goes live today, April 20, 2020 at noon.
