2026 Damage Prevention Seminar

The Gas and Oil Association of West Virginia (GOWV) is hosting its fifth annual Damage Prevention Seminar from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Hope Utilities in Clarksburg, WV on Wednesday, April 8, 2026.  The theme of the agenda will be “Best Practices for Damage Prevention”.  A review of current WV 811 regulations and law will take place and time will be spent covering the full Ticket process and current edits being considered to the One Call Law.  A panel will also be included to discuss current trends, lessons learned and challenges for various industries involved in the One Call process.

There is no cost to attend this seminar, but registration is required.  Lunch will be provided.  Please ensure you register for the session most relevant to your intended outcome.  The content is not the same for the Pipeline Safety and Damage Prevention Seminars.
