FRIDAY, APRIL 24th

8 a.m. 14th ANNUAL SPRING FLING GOLF TOURNAMENT
Valley View Golf Course. Rt. 220 between Petersburg and Moorefield. Registration/Lunch: 11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. Tee Time: 1 p.m.
Male, Female or Mixed Teams (2 people per team) $40 per person (includes lunch, 9 holes of gold with cart and prizes) Cash and prize drawings worth up to $500. This fundraiser supports substance abuse prevention programs and activities for children and adolescents within our region.

1 to 6 p.m. ALBERT MACH FINE ART DISPLAY
Escape to the Mountains 2014 "Our Automotive Heritage" will feature hundreds of fine art GiClees, images, displays and events concerning the vehicles that were part of our life, from the first ones in the 1800s until our time, including historical images and interesting stories from both Grant and Hardy counties. Some as large as 4'x7'! Location will be at the Landes Arts Center, 18 Mt. View St., Petersburg. No admission charge.

1 - 6 p.m. ALBERT MACH FINE ART DISPLAY
Al Mach's - Best of Show - "Our Heritage In Time." Over 15 years of the best pictures from past photo shows including Trains, Flowers, Birds, Historic Homes, autos, Civil War, Horses, Rock Formations, Dolly Sods, The Many Faces of Dolly Sods, Reflections of the Trough and more. Located at the Landes Arts Center. As always, admission to this show is FREE!

6 - 8 p.m. NEW THIS YEAR! OPEN MIKE NIGHT
Do you have a talent to show off? Well, we want to see it! We are having Open Mike Night to give all our locals a chance to show off their talent. From singing, dancing to standup comedy or any other talent - as long as it's clean, family fun, you are welcome to register. (To register, call the Chamber Office at 304-257-2722 or the CVB Office at 304-257-9266. It's FREE to register, but spots are limited, so hurry and register today!)

9 a.m. PARADE LINEUP: Starts on Water St. at the stoplight and continues down Virginia Ave. to Pierpont St. and right on Central Ave. then to the fairgrounds. In the event of rain (downpour), the parade will be canceled and not rescheduled. Please check Facebook for parade cancellation.

10 a.m. FOOD & CRAFT VENDORS AND INFLATABLE RIDES OPEN
Tri-County Fairgrounds. 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.

PARADE: Starts on Water St. at the stoplight, continues down Virginia Ave., to Pierpont St., Central Ave. and continues to the fairgrounds.

OPENING CEREMONIES FOLLOWING PARADE
Following the parade at the fairgrounds. Special thanks to VFW Post 6454, Civil Air Patrol, PHS Marching Band and PHS Chorus.

POSTER CONTEST WINNERS WILL BE PRESENTED ON STAGE

MISS SPRING MOUNTAIN FESTIVAL WINNERS INTRODUCED

11 a.m. SUMMER ARTS PROGRAM
to 4 p.m. Children can stop by and enjoy a simple art activity while they learn about the summer classes being offered by the Summer Arts Program. Please stop by the Chamber tent for more information.

11 a.m. POTOMAC EAGLE CANYON EXPRESS ALL-DAY TRAIN RIDES - SOUTH SIDE DEPOT
This all-day train ride will let you see the beauty that our area has to offer including the beautiful "Trough Canyon." You won't want to miss this incredible trip! Leaves South Side Depot in Petersburg at 11 a.m. and returns around 5 p.m. Cost for this trip is as follows:
Coach: Adult $80, Seniors (60+) $75, Child (4-12) $30,
Child (under 4) free with adult
Club Car (includes lunch) $150

12 - 3 p.m. ELITE PRO WRESTLING ALLIANCE
Featuring Robbie Page vs. Vince Vega "Man of Heel" and many more! This is a FREE event, so bring a lawn chair. If weather permits, we will be outside. If it's calling for rain, we will be in the show arena - you won't need a chair! Autographs will be available between shows, merchandise will be available for purchase! Show starts following opening ceremonies.

5 p.m. MAYSVILLE EXPRESS TO PERFORM
Come out and enjoy this great local band from Maysville, W.Va.!

3 p.m. POTOMAC EAGLE CANYON DINNER TRAIN
AT THE SOUTH SIDE DEPOT
Leaves from the South Side Depot in Petersburg at 6 p.m. Reservations required. Please call 304-424-0736 to make reservations. Price for dinner is $80 for dinner car and $100 for Club Car. Tickets well quickly, so don't delay!

6:30 p.m. JUICY TO PERFORM

Pancakes, eggs, sausage and much more. Located at the Grant County Airport on Johnson Run Road. Open to the public.

12 Noon ANTIQUE CAR, TRUCK, TRACTOR & ENGINE SHOW

12 - 2 p.m. MOTORCYCLE SHOW

12:30 p.m. SHORT MOUNTAIN BOYS TO PERFORM
Out of Augusta, W.Va. - We welcome this gospel bluegrass band to the stage this year. See them on Facebook at Joseph Hott and the Short Mountain Boys.

2 p.m. SPRING MOUNTAIN APRIL FOOLS RACE
The resurrection of Whitewater Weekend's April Fools Race. Enter your "anything that floats" that is not a boat, for the race or watch from the banks of the Potomac at the City Park.
